Today is another day. Tomorrow...maybe not.

Hey-I had been brewing up a very in depth post in which I wanted to talk about some really important things, but it got to far afield and I opted to write this. Hope you don't mind.

Let's get serious. For the past few months I have been living in this professor's house while he is on sabbatical in Mexico. I am presently in a disheveled office space surrounded by many books on the global economy, economic history and the labor movement. Too much for me to read in the short months I will be here, but needless to say I will be borrowing some. He also has a couple electric guitars, like an American Telecaster and a Gibson Les Paul, which are fun to play.

Saw an interesting article in newsweek about buying high end clothing during a recession. Justifies the four or five Barbour coats I plan on buying in the next few months...seriously though, read it here I have always been a big proponent of quality.

Tragic what happened in Binghamton today...now they are saying the gunman may have frequented the center. I guess we will see what happens as the story unfolds..the first few days of these stories are always the hardest. So many opportunities for misinformation. Caution, what I am about to say may come off wrong, but just read it carefully. I find it strange that no one takes hostages anymore. They all just kill themselves. Don't get me wrong, I wish nothing like this ever happened, but at least someone who takes a hostage chances are is doing so for money/political reasons, whatever those may be. Maybe that thought was too incomplete to be published. hmmm.

I think I smell my bagel bites burning.

Something I am working on. Not done at all, but let me know what you think.

See you later.
